Back to Michigan Studio

With the sudden passing of my husband I have returned to Michigan to be closer to family and work at Quilts at the Marshall House in Marshall, Michigan. I purchased a home 4 blocks from the quilt shop and am set up for sewing and quilting.

Ironing Station looking out into my back yard. One of these days I will get a border on the Love You to the Moon and Back panel for my granddaughter.

Cutting table always covered with a couple projects if not more.

Avante handi-quilter long arm in the "living room" set up so I can see the tv in the "dining room" and look out at back yard. Tons of storage on shelving as well as cupboards all along the window wall.

Looking from "living room" into the dining room.

This is my "dining room".

Another pic showing set up to watch tv as I sew. And yes, the wallpaper will be changed eventually.

The door goes out to my 3 season room. The pink wall paper is now changed to a light gray and white textured paper. New curtain too.

A view of long arm from the kitchen.
Updated the wall paper and purchased fabric storage bins for the shelves which hold current projects I am working on.

You can't see the detail in the new wall paper but it has all over tiny octagons.

Much brighter now.

I was so happy to see the dated wall paper leave and love the how much bigger my space feels.
