Quilt Gallery II

Tumbler Quilt  using charm packs. Made my own template form the cardboard that comes with the charm pack. Finished November, 2014.

Miniature Christmas Quilt made from a Moda mini charm pack. This is a true miniature per NQA definition. December, 2014.

Mug Rug. Made several for Christmas gifts at school. So easy framing a fussy cut center, quick turn and stick around for a faux binding.

Placemat to go in my blue and brown kitchen/dining space using left over fabrics from other placemats. Nov. 2014.

The rest of the placemats using jelly roll and 60 degree ruler. Perfect for my table. Brown is very Wyoming by the way.  Nov. 2014.

Slide Show by Atkinson Designs. Click here to see all patterns by Atkinson Designs. I love her designs.  I did this one in Christmas fabrics and gave to a friend for Christmas 2014.

Braids on Parade. Pattern by Carolyn Griffin, Far Flung Quilt Designs. Lap quilt. 2011

 By M & H Designs. Paper-pieced miniature. May 2012.

Design from a magazine. This is little table-top quilt has a sewn-in envelope on the back to fit over an 8 X 12 plastic picture frame. This was made with friends, Rosalee and Patti.

I've made 2 of these totes. One for fall and winter and this one for spring and summer. Perfect for carrying a project on the go and so simple to make.

Wish I could remember the name of this pattern. The fabric was a Me & My Sisters line. My friend, Nonnie, gave me this kit and I made it for my granddaughter, Abbi, when she 4 years old. Love the flowered border that I purchased at Quilts at the Marshall House.

Blue Iris. Pattern by designer Edyta Sitar. Given to my mother 2013.

Sunflowers. Pattern by Edyta Sitar. Given to my mother 2013 for her new apartment.

Quilt made for friend Sherri as a going away gift. School colors were blue and gold and I chose a wonderful floral line of fabric. The colors are much more vibrant than shown here...just like Sherri's personality.

  1. Love your braids on parade quilt. hope i win your contest. i was in a serious accident and had to be life flighted to an out of state trauma hospital. i had a broken pelvis, broken ribs, collapsed lung, severe concussion, and a broken left arm that was paralyzed by the wreck. i was in the trauma hospital for seven weeks, then transferred to a physical therapy closer to home for two months. they did surgery on my left arm,.and yes i am left handed.my arm is is doing better, but the doctor said that since i love hand piecing and hand quilting , that would be great therapy. the problem is i have no fabric, and on my disability check, i receive only $345.00 monthly, almost $100.00 goes for my meds. i really hope i win thank you barbara babscorbitt@gmail.com
