Blog Hop Give Away

ReplyDeleteRe: sideways photos - I get that sometimes. It seems to be whenever I turn the camera longwise to take the photo. It uploads that way, and no matter what editing I do, it doesn't like to turn it back around. Though lately I have found the editing in Windows Live Gallery seems to be working, or maybe I'm just in the habit of avoiding longwise photo shots! hehe
Love those fabrics. Christmas is my fav time. Spending time with family and all the trimmings..such fun!

ReplyDeleteChristmas is definately my favourite holiday and I make a huge effort every year choosing a theme and decorating to that theme. I would make a tesselated wall hanging with those fabric chamrs. I am so envious of the American Halloween. I would be so into that in a big way but it is not done here in Australia :(

ReplyDeleteYou need to resize the photo...it's too large...if you change the dimensions...crop off some of the edge, you should be good.

Probably Thanksgiving or July 4th. You get great family time and delicious food without a crazy amount of preparation.

ReplyDeleteI prefer Thanksgiving - i find Xmas is too commercialized and the weather is usually rotten - Thanksgiving in Oct in Canada is a great time - fall Harvest is usually completed, kids are back to shool and routine and it is a great time to get together as a family.Gorgeous fabrics. ReplyDeleteI didn't read all the comments to see if someone responded to you question about blogger turning your photos. What photo editing software do you use? If the photos go into your computer sideways and you turn them, your software may require you to save them after you've turned them. Not sure but maybe.

I was having that problem with my pictures on flikr last week but today when I downloaded pictures it didn't happen so seems to have stopped for now. Hopefully that will also happen for you. ReplyDeleteMaybe, possibly and it just might be - that you've already edited (rotated) the pictures in your picture program. Then when you choose the file for blogger...you don't choose the edited version of it. Just a guess.
My favorite is Halloween because you get to dress up!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday is Easter. It is such a great reminder of what Christ did for me and at a time of year when not much else is going on except waiting for Spring. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday is any day to spend at home, with family, without commitments of house work, shopping or cooking! That's a real holiday!
