Busy, busy, busy....

My goal for January and February was to stay away from my sewing machine to get more things done around the house to get it ready to put on the market this spring. I have finished painting kitchen trim, a bathroom ceiling, sold many books and patterns on quilt forums online, and almost have a half-wall all painted in the kitchen that I will finish today.

I haven't totally been away from the sewing machine. I did make this for sample for the shop's upcoming spring shop hop. Love these colors and just couldn't resist and it was an easy pattern so took no time at all to put together.

The second weekend in February I spending 4 days sewing with wonderful quilting friends at the Hankerd Inn and will be working on these quilts for brother and sister-in-law, and 2 of my favorite grand nieces. This will be a power sewing weekend to get these done.

Even though I haven't been at my sewing machine I have been doing some handwork and managed to get another dresden block appliqued. I have 4 blocks done now.
